Nathan Navarro Does Dubstep Wobbles with Bass

PURCHASE THE C4 SYNTH

PURCHASE HOT HAND 3

Here it is, the Return of the Dubstep Wobble featuring our old mate, Nathan Navarro. It's another superb, melt-your-bass-face video from Nathan:10 Genres of Bass (in under two minutes). These genres are going to come at you fast, so do not blink! Jazz, Funk, Tejano, Tech-Death, Metal, Disco, it's all here, but of course, there is a special place in our hearts for Dubstep and Nathan's killer dubstep bass wobbles with our Hot Hand 3 Universal Controller and the C4 Synth. The dubstep segment happens at roughly the 0:50 mark in the video. And here is some good news, Nathan has published the C4 Synth settings he used in the video. That means anybody can download the preset and burn it to their C4 Synth (click the link below to download the preset).

Many of you may know Source Audio's history with Nathan Navarro and his dubstep wobble technique, but for those who don't, let's take a trip back to the year 2011, a simpler, more innocent time. The video below changed our company forever. At the time, there was a good number of Hot Hand enthusiasts in the world, but our innovative approach to expression control was certainly not taking the world by storm. Nathan saw an application for the Hot Hand 3 Wireless Controller that we never dreamed of - he used it alongside our Soundblox Bass Envelope Filter to nail the dubstep wobble sound from the Skrillex song, Scary Monsters And Nice Sprites. It was glorious. This video from Pinn Panelle (Nathan's band at the time) was a blueprint on how to bring electronic music into a live band situation. It was our first experience with a genuine viral video phenomenon and interest in Hot Hand 3 and Source Audio went through the roof. Check it out, this video still sounds as great as it did 10 years ago.
