First off, we're HUGE fans of Josh and JHS pedals, so we couldn't be more stoked that our pedals made cameo appearances in his "5 Favorite Guitars" video. Big kudos there!
Here at Source Audio, we could talk about guitars all day long. So some of us just watched this video for Josh’s axes. But, while Josh covers his 5 favorite guitars he's ever owned, he's also demoing our True Spring Reverb and L.A. Overdrive One Series pedals, so we HAD to keep watching!
Josh kicks off by dialing in in a gnarly “The Bends” tone that shows off the touch sensitivity and response of the L.A. Lady on his custom Nashville Tele inspired by Jonny Greenwood. He later plugs in a Nash Telecaster and utilizes a drippy True Spring setting, showing how well and naturally it pairs with a smooth TS9 style preset from the L.A. Lady. Josh concludes with a nice dry, punchy, medium-gain tone to demonstrate all the pickups of his Bilt “Do All” guitar—exemplifying the L.A. Lady’s flexibility through all types of pickups, and how you can still hear the “guitar’ behind the overdrive.

The JHS Team and Ryan of 60 Cycle Hum Test Every Spring Reverb and Spring Reverb Pedal - Every Single One!!!
The True Spring Reverb: "It drips!!!" Another great JHS video with a True Spring Reverb appearance. This video is extra cool because it also features our pal Ryan or 60 Cycle Hum. Ryan is YouTube's undisputed "King of Spring." Seriously, nobody else out there is as obsessed with drippy spring reverbs and spring reverb pedals as Ryan. Listening to Josh and Ryan compare every spring reverb pedal in the JHS headquarters (and there are A LOT of them). Seriously, everything you ever wanted to know about spring reverb is revealed in this video. Go to around 1:07:40 to hear the True Spring.
